Episode 43 of the Smells Like Human Spirit Podcast focuses heavily on the concept of 'The Singularity', a point in space-time where the rules of ordinary physics no longer apply, and rapid change occurs to the point where future technological advancements are impossible to predict. Prominent spokespeople for the Singularity movement suggest that this metamorphosis will occur as early as 2045, with an intelligence explosion so great that human conciousness itself could be 'scanned' to create true artificial intelligence, and perhaps even immortality. Quite clearly, there are huge ethical, biological, and philosophical issues with these ideas which we discuss in the podcast. Also: the incredible Manti Te'o saga, and a positive development coming from the TSA. Enjoy!

In this episode of the Smells Like Human Spirit Podcast, Guy Evans casts a critical eye towards last night’s incredible in-studio confrontation between radio host Alex Jones and CNN presenter Piers Morgan. The showdown between Jones and Morgan had been brewing for a while, with tensions being escalated in the wake of Morgan labeling Larry Pratt, executive director of the Gun Owners of America, an ‘unbelievably stupid man’ on his show last month.

It made for fascinating television. Two men with such diametrically opposed styles, beliefs, and backgrounds met face to face for two segments. They ranted, raved, interrupted, shouted at and insulted each other in a startling clash of philosophies.

This is an episode you don't want to miss. Check it out, spread the word and peace!

"Mass education was designed to turn independent farmers into docile, passive tools of production. That was its primary purpose. And don't think people didn't know it. They knew it and they fought against it." - Noam Chomsky

Is the purpose of mass education social upliftment, or rather, social control? To explore this question, we were joined by James Corbett of the Corbett Report, marking his third appearance on the Smells Like Human Spirit Podcast. This was a fantastic episode which will be sure to get a lot of you thinking, so we would love to hear your feedback through e-mail at smellslikehumanspirit@gmail.com. Check it out, tell your friends, and peace!

Matteo Wyllyamz (aka Mouselink), is a New-York based author, teacher, public speaker and artist. Back in September of last year, we spoke to Matteo about social media, and how patterns influence our lives, in Episodes 17 and 18 respectively. We expand on the latter topic in this episode, touching on aspects such as cultural programming, the importance of living your dharma, and free will vs pre-ordained 'decision making'. Enjoy!
